THE YALE CABARET

In his third and final year at The Yale School of Drama, Jim was Artistic Director of the Yale Cabaret, an award-winning, student-run theater, renowned for exciting, irreverant, and new work. He and his board were instrumental in the selection, development, and artistic direction of a diverse season of twenty-three, unique productions presented in repertory over the course of two semesters (including nine original works and four American premieres: Caryl Churchill’s Hotel: Eight Rooms, Elfried Jelinek’s Sleeping Beauty, et al.). Under Jim’s leadership The Cabaret held three separate fundraising events benefiting the Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Fund, Goodwill-Easter Seals, and The Yale Cabaret itself, and was voted “Best Local Theater” by The New Haven Register for the 2005-06 season.
