Fabulous Productions is a New York-based theater company founded on the principles of Tony Kushner’s “Theater of the Fabulous,” fiercely celebrating: “Irony. Tragic History. Defiance. Gender-fuck. Glitter. Drama…” producing shows that revel in “the grotesque, the carnivalesque.” Founded in 2006, the company has an extensive roster of original shows and an exhaustive repertoire of musical favorites all rife with subversive and irreverent writing, shocking and awing performances, and a very healthy supply of the trashiest drag. All work is written, directed, and performed in conjunction with long-time collaborator, Jimmy McNicholas (Jimmy Mack) who has joined Figgy onstage at numerous New York City venues including: Joe’s Pub, The Triad Theater, The Sanford Meisner Theater, The Slipper Room, Galapagos Art Space, The Zipper Factory, Rose Live Music, and many more!
