THE MARTHA STEWART SHOW

As a TV crafter for seasons four through seven (2008-2012) of Martha Stewart’s live television show, Jim worked closely with Martha herself, both on-air and behind-the-scenes, creating original projects and supporting guest-crafters (including celebrities like Christian Siriano, Alan Cumming, Willie Geist, Jim Cramer, and Johnny Knoxville) featured on the Emmy-winning show, ensuring solid knowledge of all necessary instructions, tools, techniques, materials, and sources. Jim also documented and wrote step-by-step online craft processes and communicated with viewers and readers to resolve questions and issues regarding each and every project.

Additional opportunities while working on the show included assisting on Martha’s primetime seasonal and holiday specials, accompanying Martha to public appearances, researching and writing for “The Crafts Dept.” blog on marthastewart.com, developing and selling merchandise at the company craft fairs, inspirational fieldtrips to Martha’s Bedford farm, and the like.
